>>29298451Drampa and especially Pyukumuku always just seemed like single stagers to me.
There were also a few pokemon who I thought would be single stage but turned out not to be (Type:Null and probably Crabrawler as well)
Komala is what really stands out to me though. Unlike Pyukumuku, Minior, or Mimikyu, it doesn't seem appropriate as a single stage gimmick mon, and unlike Drampa, Tutornator, or Bruxish, it doesn't seem fully evolved. It's not uncommon to get fully evolved looking singler stagers like Kanghaskhan, Carnivine, or Hawlucha, but it is really uncommon to get ones that look like they'd be the first stage of a line. The only examples I can think of are the various pikaclones but I'd put them in the gimmick category. Plus, Komala comes very late in the dex, near the legendaries, when, if there was going to be such a small and cute single stage pokemon, you'd expect it to appear early on.
I know it's just denial and i'm going to end up disappointing, but I'll still keep hoping.
Komala is what gives me any sort of hope that there are maybe pokemon to be revelead that weren't in the datamine, perhaps because Gamefreak actually remembered to remove the data for a few of them before releasing the demo or something like that.
