Honestly, most of the legendary trios OP is talking about suck. If we're ignoring cover trios then I genuninely think the birds and the (dogs/ beasts/ gineau pigs/ gerbils) are the only good ones. I mean who even cares about the Regis? Rest of the gen 3 legendaries are good, but the regis are kinda lame and forgettable. As for the genies and the gen 4 pixie things... they're some of the worst, laziest legendaries ever. I don't really care for the ponies either but at least they had some thought put into them.
I'm glad they toned down the legendaries in general tbqh, gens 4 and 5 really took the 'unnecessary, overdesigned digimon legendaries' to the extreme. Feel free to call me a genwunner :^)
