We've been over this. 6v6 is a broken meta with all the Megas allowed and shit. The majority of every battle will either be a 6-0 sweep or a stall fest.

Who cares? I can play a triple battle in battle spot even though thats never going to be an official format. OP isnt asking for VGC to be 6v6, we just want a fucking option to play that format instead of pinging random people on PSS.

Aside from horrible balance issues, like getting a STAB surf on most of the enemy team, can you just imagine the framerate issues?

The game can barely handle hordes, so it'd probably take a full 2-3 minutes to register and then execute 12 moves and faint animations

Except the games allow you to use 6 mons in a battle and most of Gym leader rematches, E4, Champion and final rival battles have 6 Pokemon. So if you're playing the game as it should be played and using a full team of 6, the most important battles in the game will be 6v6

Anon, have you ever even played a Pokemon game? Barely any NPC has a team of 6, its usually a team of 3.

Except OP never asked for it to be an official format. Gamefreak's official format is only 4v4 doubles yet they have other formats on battle spot that they don't give a shit about balancing. Is it so hard to include the most important format of the main game on battle spot?

Are you fucking autistic? Just because the NPCs don't have a full team doesn't mean you cant or that the NPCs dont have the potential to have 6 mons. You can go online and challenge someone to a 6v6 and only use 1, 2 or 3 Pokemon, same fucking shit, it doesn't mean that the format isn't 6v6.

If Gamefreak wasnt retarded and wanted to promote their formats, then they would let you have 6 mons but at the start of a battle they'd have you choose only 3 to use. Or just have the majority of battles be double battles. But no, they don't do that. The format the singleplayer uses is 6v6, it allows you to use 6 mons in a fight.

I can respect the fact that you think its a terrible idea. But why wouldnt it just be an option? Its not going to be the official VGC format, just like triple battles and singles aren't. Its just another thing for people to do in game who are into it.

Random matchup is their competitive play and 6v6 isn't intended to be competitive, it's pretty simple
