>>29306767It doesn't. First off, it loses the "ties" on its neck that really give off the bandit mask theme and make it stand out. That's what originally made it stand out to me. That, and the smug ass face which it also loses upon evolution.
Now, I expected the evolution to lose those traits, it's something that often happens in pokemon. What I didn't expect was an evolution that's just a bigger, bipedal Salandit but loses all the traits that made it feel unique and interesting. It's just Salandit without any of the things that made it appealing to me, which normally would be fine, except the evolution doesn't gain anything new and interesting to make me like it.
And no, I don't hate it for being feminine or anything, I like feminine pokemon a lot actually, and this generation has two of my favourites (Lurrantis and Ribombee)
