I'm a bit disappointed with Totem Pokémon. Is it going to call only one ally? Horde battles were harder than it. Also, is horde battles gone?

Fuck off Masuda. Removing Horde Battles doesn't make the game harder. It makes it more tedious because you're removing convience for the sake of each gen being "unique"

It only summoned one just for the demo. The point was to take out the ally so you could use Ash-Greninja

D-pad movement was replaced in favor of adding shortcuts to the Pokerides. If you are in the Pokerider menu and tap the cross, it allows you to select a direction on the D-pad to assign a Ridemon to. So it's a favorable change imo.

That one was shown killing Yungoose,Pikipek and Litten of the same level without succumbing thanks to the help until the player managed to kill it with Crabrawler.

No reason to believe it's going to be any easier or harder than any gym.

Mine specifically said Sun, I assumed there was like a 50/50 chance of getting either with different monsters for the catching challenge.

Some Googling shows that I was wrong about the totem, that's what I get for playing it at like 2 AM.
