>>29308955It would not surprise me if they ended up releasing another Kanto game on the NX, complete with most of the features of FRLG in a scaled up 1080p version of the Sun and Moon engine and tacked on Augmented Reality features on the handheld part to appeal to the GO crowd. Probably chock full of references to the early anime too, considering they've shown with Sun/Moon that they're not afraid to ride on its success (Ash-Greninja, Pikachu with Ash hat, etc).
It's not what I'd want, but it'd certainly be an easy sell to the normie audience that the NX trailer seemed to be geared towards. Between Mario Kart, Breath Of The Wild and a true Kanto in 3D, they'd probably actually manage to secure some decent first and second year sales.
