Persian Blues are also supposed to be really hairy, so some fluff wouldn't hurt, but I guess GF is more and more reluctant in giving Pokémon actual fur, since it's hard to translate into models

It's not harder, it's just more costly when it comes to performances because you need more polygons. But they could always have made it like on stoutland and stuff, and simply enough that it doesn't make much of a difference.
