Maybe a version of the Switch that only has a handheld mode as a cheaper version, but there's be no reason to release a dedicated handheld when the Switch already fully works as a handheld, it'd cannibalize their own sales.

GCN Yoshi Circuit from Mario Kart 8 is shown. Either they're reusing lots of assets, they're doing something unexpected (a huge mixture of content from all of the installments so far?), or it's a port of Mario Kart 8 with added features and content. If anything, Splatoon is a sequel. The entrance into the arena is different, the stage shown is new, and more customization is available.
