We don't "know", but it's likely. The islands are named after colors, which match the colors of Oricorio and the Tapus. Both the tapu and Oricorio of Melemele are part electric type, so it's not that much of a stretch to imagine the remaining one are also part fire, ghost and psychic. The demo revealed a move called psychic terrain, which matches the likely type of the pink tapu, and it's not a stretch to imagine they'll have similar abilities. Again, not 100% confirmed, but very likely.

Each island with a name reveled are colors in hawiian. These colours mach up with the Hawiian islands regonal colour http://traveltips.usatoday.com/islands-hawaiis-colors-107103.html. Oricorio's types mach up with these colours, so do the island names and so do the reveled tapus.

You are stretching it, just because they are based on the same color, it doesn't mean they have to have the same type.

If you look at Tapu Koko definitely looks both yellow and orange, but Oricorio is just yellow. Tapu Bull is both red and yellow, but Oricorio is red and black.

Have you ever been to Hawaii, retard? The four largest islands are color coded the same (Red, Pink, Yellow, Violet). Not to mention the Island Challenge symbol is those four colors.

There are no coincidences here. We know that types the Tapu will be thanks to Oricorio and the island colors.

Because they scrubbed out every move that won't be used by any pokemon in the demo. Of the four leaked moves, three seem to match the starters thematically, indicating that the starters will appear in a later event. Psychic Terrain indicates that a psychic pokemon will appear in a later event - probably not the Tapu, just something else that learns the move.

This isn't some coincidence like Luvdisc and Alomomola resembling one another. These mons are all introduced in the same gen, and it's common knowledge that these types are color coded to these specific colors.

No they can't. Normals can hit Ghosts if they're under the effects of Scrappy, Mind Reader or similar moves, but no such power is bestowed upon Ghosts.

Thing is we thought Tapu Pinkie was getting it but she is getting Psy Terrain, basically making her a Chansey/so on that will help their partners from getting BTFO.

I'm thinking "Murky" Terrain is gonna have it where it increases the chances of status ailments from moves (like Thunderbolt for example) and halves the power of Normal or Fighting types for five turns. Makes sense if it's meant to be the opposite of Misty Terrain and finally give Ghost Pokemon some form of advantageous terrain/weather etc.

And I think Bull is getting a Terrain that sets things on fire, which makes sense cause Electric has a Terrain, Grass pokemon benefit more from Sunny Day (lol but not really) and Water Pokemon benefit a lot from Drizzle. So by giving Tapu Taur a terrain that's creates "a sea of flames" it could be where water moves can put it out and grass pokemon are even more flammable while it cheaps away at pokemon on the ground (non-levitators/flying-pokemon)

However bet you Marshadow or even "Primal" Giratina gets the nullifying ability for terrains like Rayquaza does for weather. Makes sense given how they will probably fit in the story for SM and later DP remakes AND so the Tapus are on "equal" footing since they basically serve Solgaleo/Lunala.
