I know everyone loves making fakemons, but has anyone taken a shot at making fake Ultra-Beasts?

I feel like there's a lot of potential for some wicked designs.

I don't kno if this helps, but I saw a headcanon in a different thread about the UBs being microscopic pokemon blown up to our size via Aether tech. I can absolutely see these things being based on microscopic things, shit gets weird at that level

I don't know about that either, done look like they're based on inanimate objects to horrid abominations like the elder ones, it seems spread out, the theme of ultra beast is they look out of the Pokémon world yet they have there own themes

you judge my design as a simple lizard but it's theme is a mutant synthetic, it has blisters on its body and mechanical parts attached to it, that's pretty abstract, it has a alienish design compared to Pokémon, also the UB with the massive maw is based on deep sea creatures like angler fish and deep sea crabs.

I honestly don't understand what you were trying to say here. wasn't saying that the UBs are based on specific mircoscopic things, just that the artists may have drawn on them for the UBs designs. The crab UB even has an atom model in him.

We mean things that the human mind cannot sort into existing categories. Even the UBs that would seem to be disqualified still bring that feeling with them, save perhaps UB Beauty (Maybe GF felt there needed to be a waifu UB, I dunno)

I agree, how I see it UBS need to look alien and out of the Pokémon world and our world like deep sea creatures or microscopics or hell there's a oragami one, then we have some that look like stone, we can say this, it can't be simplistic or Pokémon like or yugioh, yugioh is too overboard for a ultra beast design and so is digimon, I did what I could to not go too overboard so it looks a bit complex mixed with simplicity that's what I get from ultra beast designs
