To me what you're saying is wrong in the sense that I care about the journey and enjoying it that's why i want to spend it with ones I knew Id like.
And no, it doesn't mean not opening up for new bros, there is always a chance for something being not as planned, and even if everything is planned it can happen. One time I planned a team and I personally didn't like arcanine but thought I'd use it, and so it was a fun "love-hate relationship" so I warmed up to it and really found a bro.
tl;dr its also fun to set the ones that you think are most, its about the journey with your best bros, surprises can still happen
