There's nothing wrong with the 3DS, Game Freak just can't code for shit and their complete and utter incompetence will overshadow whatever performance improvements come with a more powerful system. A Pokémon game on the Switch will still have the same problems and you know it. Maybe they won't be as bad, but they'll still be there as long as Game Freak is running the show.
