Except Charizard, Lapras and Goodra. And he GAVE away Primeape. The english dub made a translation error. So only Butterfree and Pidgeot never was seen again. (Butterfree had an episode for it in BW though with Ash meeting a Caterpie and he gets flashbacks about Butterfree and makes said Caterpie evolve)

So really, only 1 out 5 never were seen again.

Sarah Natochenny is one of the worst American dub VAs of all time as Ash Ketchum, and yeah, we all know she'll do a shitty job when Ash releases Greninja already in the already horrid XYZ dub.

TPCi hires some of the absolute worst voice talent ever, Origins & Generations excluded, and even with the latter two the voice actors are talented but sound awful because of bad direction.
