Could have been Steel/Flying with a very hard metal beak (in contrast to a standard toucan's hollow, fragile beak), or maybe I would have said Grass but that'd be way redundant with Rowlet3.
Apparently they wrestle and fence to establish dominance, so it could've been Fighting/Flying, or just make it fucking pink and go Fairy/Flying.
I understand the whole reference of woodpeckers making holes for toucans to live in, but I think that the woodpecker line should have been fully fleshed Steel/Flying, and then the toucan would be a FRIENDLY counterpart (unlike Zangoose/Seviper, etc) and maybe could have been Fire/Flying or Electric/Flying to best the woodpecker, or Ground/Flying or something to support it.
And then give them some sick Doubles abilites/moves like Passiman/Oranguru, and you'd be set.
