>>29350726Skarmory, Suicune, Entei, Raikou, Tyranitar, Scizor, Heracross, Kingdra, Azumarill, Crobat, Politoed, Quagsire, Espeon, Forettress, Porygon2, Smeargle and Donphan are all viable in various gamefreak metas as well as Smogon OU, some situationally and others are staples.
Blissey, Gligar, Umbreon, Octillery, Shuckle, Wobbufet, Feraligatr and Ampharos (w/ mega ofc) are also usable in various metas but not really OU material. Octillery is actually top tier in rotation battles.
Considering Johto introduced only about 100 pokemon, and almost half of those were NFE, I think it did pretty well.
