Guys...you do realize DP remakes are probably and hopefully right around the corner, probably have a double release (hopefully) for 3DS and Switch, and if they blabbed they would get spanked hard by their bosses right? Lol while it does suck and is because Hawaii is more about the ride (the extravagant dances and rituals) then the end result (op bad ass Megas; modern socities in general) they need filler for SInnoh and doubt their gonna explain away, or do it well enough, how random dances from a far away region caused Dialgia or Palkia and/or Giratina to stop blowing things up. MEGAS and PRIMALS on the other hand would fit well there, especially when you have a good gap in pokemon that need them. Like the Johto Starters, whose anniversary of their games are approaching, like the Sinnoh Starters, like Luxray, Staraptor, Swellow and Noctowl (could be good version exclusive) etc. Megas.
While it does suck and makes it seem those snobby brats who somehow "hatemegas so so so much" cause they fucked over their stupid already broken as shit meta (which fucking came roaring right back in ORAS, look up CHALK and TRY to argue that a lot of it and its typical subsets are mostly pokemon from 5th gen meta like the Genies, like Cress and Heatran, like Amoongus and Ferrothorn -___-) have won the battle, they have not won the war when Megas are a more easily explainable occurence in this timeline where it's across the whole Eurasian continent then random, specific dances from a small island chain in the pacific. Like I'm sorry to be mean but it's like you know? The reason their doing all these stupid gimmicks even more then XY is because it's basically there best shot to do it here then to try explain in a coherent enough why Z-Moves' importance to a revamped plot for DP over this idea of power from friendship and proving to an asshole named Cyrus why Pokemon are not just tools for personal gain.
