(I have over 2,000 pokemon in bank for breeding reasons) Before the dream world closed, I spent hours every single day going through there in hopes the dream ball would pass so I could get every single pokemon with a pink/purple shiny and fossils to get a unique ball. I did this with six fucking games, and it was only near the end that I finally cracked and used the hack that would make my dream world go "dry" so I could get it done in 5 minutes instead of an hour per each game.The amount of time I sunk into apricorn balls and waltzing through the safari is disgusting. I still have to reset and RNG abuse an ID for HGSS so I get shiny legendaries into apricorn balls. I still have to RNG abuse any gender neutral or male only pokemon I can catch in apricorn balls.
I would welcome this change. It means things that would never have a chance to get into specific balls (Like a Heavy Ball Cranidos) are now possible. My starters, who I feel like I shouldn't bond with because I'll breed ones with better balls, will no longer concern me.
This would be an amazing change, and I would have no regrets over it despite how many fucking hours upon hours of work I put into this shit. My OCD is so severe with shit like this, it would be nice to not have to store so many fucking pokemon because I have the easy option of swapping out whenever I want. Fuck OCD.
Just discard the pokeball you're replacing, and GG
