Are the ingame 3d models in the SM demo or are there just pics?

Isn't it a bit fishy that there were pics of all the new pokes in the demo yet no 3D models? The content of the demo doesn't justify its size, so do you think that they just haven't datamined the 3D models yet?

The same thing happened in the ORAS demo. They only had the tiny images, and no models, so for a month there was fanart of Hoopa-U as a cyclops because nobody could figure out what its face looked like.
