Of course, most Ice-types wind up being slow and bulky, which only harms the Pokemon further since it bring no defensive benefits to the table. A pure Steel Sandslash could have at least been an Excadrill without the Water weakness, but instead we got double weakness to two common offensive types and fewer resistances for no discernible benefit.
