Hello, 4chan. I work at GameFreak and have some juicy details about the upcoming games they've been working on for the Nintendo CTR handheld.
Generation 6 will be the first pokemon games in full 3d. To represent this, the games are titled X-axis and Y-axis. The legendaries vaguely resemble these letters, with a deer with X-horns and a bird with Y-wings.
Concepts of starters have been floating around that they're going to use classic medieval archetypes. Presumably, a water thief, grass mage, and fire warrior.
They are changing the type chart majorly. Dragon will be nerfed. Ice will be nerfed.
There is a grass horse you can ride, replacing the bike.
The reigon is based on France.
There is talk of bringing in a different animation studio for the anime, and making it much higher quality.
And finally, we will see a return to gen 4 style evolutions after Unova's renewal.
