No you have to catch it in a PokeBall or Ultra or Master Ball. It's same way as every Pokemon.

Yup, just being the proper syncer, catch fug, plug his stats into a calculator from the summary screen in battle and entering the nature you want him to have, if the stats come back invalid, you know he doesn't have the right nature.

yes just save before you battle it you'll be able to check it stats/nature in the deoxys battle it.
