>>29400028It's an old advertising tactic. A "trusted" logo appears on something, no matter how shit the product is, and youll have gullible consumers driving up your demand. From a marketing standpoint, it shows consistency. No matter how new and different the product is, you know what youre getting because the logo is a brand that you are familiar with.
It makes sense from a business standpoint.
That said, the Japanese logos are nice ad add variety.
