Honestly as much as I hate how forced he is I really like his concept and design overall. Probably in my top 3 gen 6 pokemon.

Thing is, he wasn't even that forced, but then came a point where pandering simply went from subtle to not subtle at fucking all.

I like his original design, but when I see Ash-Greninja, I just ultimately cringe.

Grass is consistently average or good across the board. Meganium is the exception.

Give me the constant, dependable Grass instead of the roller coaster of Water and the shit show that is Fire...or should I say the Fightning starter?

Robinhoot is destined to be useless. You just can't be a fragile Grass/Flying when Ice Shard and SR exist, and it's offenses aren't likely to be incredible

I really don't like how Greninja looks in 3d sadly. It just looks like a bunch of basic geometric shapes with some eyes.

You actually like that? I'm not trying to diss you, but why? It looks so tacky and unnecessary, especially the red. If the black and red added portions were just blue and cream yellow like greninja normally has it would've been fine, if not weirdly circular
Or hell, if they replaced the cream color with black it actually would work much better than what it actually has

Sceptile doesn't ruin Grovyle's design, it's just that it's not as good as Grovyle's design.
My main issues with Sceptile are the colouring and the way the leaf blades were positioned on his arm.
Mega-Sceptile does go some ways to redeeming it though.
