Medals - Each medal boosts a non-HP stat by 1 stage if the holder's species' Base Stat Total is 50 - 124 points lower than the opponent's. If the species BST is >124 points lower than the opponent's, the medal's primary stat is boosted 2 stages, and a secondary stat is boosted 1 stage. This boost only occurs when the holder enters battle against a higher BST pokemon, like the Download ability. There are 20 medals, 1 for each stat combination.
So like, Ledian with the SpA/Spd medal would get +2 SpA and +1 Spd when entering battle against a pokemon with higher than 515 BST, but only +1 SpA against something with 440 - 514 BST.
Flavor it something like "This special medal gives an underdog more confidence in battle."
