Man! Seeing all the gym leaders/E4 members/champions in their vacation outfits would be pretty sweet!

But it doesn't seem like clear proof. Don't they all just share basically the same trainer classes? "Leader" Blaine -- "Leader" Tate -- "Leader" Valerie.
Only the new trial captains and kahunas would be different.

I wasn't sure if GF would give Charizard something this generation, but yesterdays video makes pretty much confirmed it. Charizard is getting something, and we can't stop it.

This. XY had about 170 classes in its data, but a lot of that was bloat from the Chateau/Maison, so the fact that SM has 186 proves nothing.

So it's not just "Leader" it's "Leader Brock", "Leader Misty", and so on.

This. It's how it worked for B2W2 PWT. So assuming that we don't get fucked over by something like the Battle Chateau that did a similar thing to trainer classes, it's a decent chance the PWT or something like it will be in SM

That still leaves a lot of slots.

What you're listing is the base for most games. And that's if you can even battle the trail captains at all. It's 18 slots if you can fight the seven captains. (4 Aether, 3 Skull, 4 Kahuna, 7 captains). Add in Hau and you still aren't at 20 unique trainers.

170 for XY was due to the bloat and was very far from the norm.
