Nah

Besides, it seems like obtaining money is rather easy in Sun/Moon, so you'd never have issues with PokeBalls anyway.

200 Pokeballs is useful, but not game breaking or anything.

Catching Pokemon is never really all that hard. This is especially true of early route mons. They have such a high catch rate that you don't miss all that much, if at all.

There has never honestly been a challenge to catching Pokemon

Just so you know, both versions are going to be pretty much the same game, just with a few pokemon swapped around and the new time differences. Lots of people don't both getting both versions for that reason.
Just so you don't beat one, start up the other, and be like "this is the exact same shit!".

Why the fuck would you ever buy both versions? I did this with ORAS and regret it into oblivion, just buy the one with exclusives you prefer and trade in game for the rest.

Legendaries can be a bit of a challenge if you aren't fully prepared.
Without False Swipe or Thunder Wave/Spore, things can be a little drawn out.
Especially if the fucker knows something like Swords Dance. The Three Mushiteers were the most annoying for me in ORAS.
