It was pretty obvious from the trailer Kitten is the jokemon this season, akin to Pickup, Oshowatt, and Chespin. He will probably get Rowlett and it will probably evolve fully.

Hopefully he won't be as disappointing as Oshawott and will evolve halfway to Torracat, or hell evolve straight to Luchalitten but keep his comic relief role.
