Back during OS the series might have had some heart but it all went to shit starting with Hoenn and they had to replace characters for marketing reasons
Ever since Hoenn started the show was just a commercial.

I had a lot of fun enjoying both. I haven't watched much Hoenn but it can't be so bad.
now, XY is where it all finally hit the final nail into the coffin.

them rebooting the whole series with a new style might be direly needed.
