Yes. People only said he was tied to Absorption because he was revealed alongside Lusamine and was the best fit at the time. Now people can't let it go, just like how they insist the Tapu swordfish is a fucking dolphin because of the the Chinese leaker.

Ultra beasts aren't people, it doesn't work with what we know so far. Lusamine leads the Aether foundation, which made Type:Null probably to fight the ultra beasts. If Lusamine is one, then why would they make Type:Null?

UB01 and UB02 definitely look like lillie and lusamine though, but there has to be a reason for that.
