The Dexnav was so goddamn perfect.

It let you sweep and catch everything in an area without the use of a guide, but was less clunky than checking the habitat list.

It's a feature that every game should have going forward. Even if you don't keep the summoning button keep the fucking list on the bottom screen.

Not having to press A/B buttons to do everything. Sometimes I play with just the left hand for moving around, and that's not allowed in the demo thanks to doors/gates/people-blocking-routes. You also couldn't press B to say "no" for yes/no questions, and thats fucked up.

If contests don't return I'd imagine the sparkly red ribbon entry animation thing won't either
I also hope we have a Battle Chateau or similar area where I can beat the shit out of Chansey/Blissey/Audino nonstop for easy Exp. post-game. That shit was great for leveling competitive mons and for training LivingDex paperweights.

I hope you are wrong as shit.
The bottom screen in SM is already a downgrade from XY, if they remove the most convenient feature for the sake of some bullshit plaza I'm going to be beyond disappointed. There were already plenty of things wrong with the demo that made the game feel like a step backwards on a technical level. If the PSS doesn't return under a new name or function with similar universal accessibility, it'll be like GameFreak fell down the staircase they've been struggling up for 20 years.

I know there's probably not much chance of this but I really hope they fix it in the full game. Automatic sliding doors just feel so much cooler than ones you have to press a fucking button to open. What is this, the Stone Age?

really hate there's likely no option for a bike because it's a lot cooler thematically and shit because a bike makes sense in and fits in with urban, suburban, rural, and wilderness areas alike while riding on a fucking bull only the later two

I love that Hyper Training exists, because while I don't have the patience to breed for competitive mons anymore, and did shamefully hack IVs in my Pokemon, I *only* hacked IVs, I still bred for:

>pokeballs
>still EV trained

But with Hyper Training I can just hack 999 Bottle Caps in and never even have to use PkHex anymore. My moralfag heart is now slightly more at peace.
If bottle caps are reasonable to get I might not even hack them, but from the look of things they will be.

Of course this is all assuming there is a reasonably fast way to get to level 100, if not then I'll still have to use PkHex, fuck.

Bikes, triple battles, and the grid system. I thought what we had in gen 6 was pretty good. You have the option to walk without being aligned to the grid but you still use the d-pad if you want. I still use the d-pad for walking most of the time, it felt weird using the c-pad the whole time during the demo.

Even my normie friends who would never be autistic enough to try and catch them all attempted to get all the Pokemon on a route, solely because the DexNav showed them how much progress they were making. There could be some improvements here or there, yes, but you're lying to yourself if you say that DexNav wasn't one of the best features to be recently introduced.
