How often do you do a Region Run? (Go through the whole region)

I do it every time I want to hatch eggs and increase happiness.

I used to do it when I was bored in HGSS, would hatch eggs along the way and have a party of pickup Pokemon... it was fun.

That's the only way to battle actual Hoenn NPCs in ORAS, because Battle Maison/Institute use Kalos NPCs instead.

Doesn´t the ORAS battle Maison not include Hoenn versions of the NPCs as well? For example, does an Ace Trainer look like a Hoenn Ace Trainer or a Kalos Ace Trainer, for example?

I do it for Johto and Unova because the overworlds are so fun I just love traversing them.

Also these are regions with daily events all over so I'd sometimes just run through the daily events in my HeartGold, Black 2 and Platinum.

FRLG's Battle Hill use actual Kanto trainer sprites.

HGSS' Battle Frontier use actual Johto trainers sprites unless if is a trainer class from Sinnoh, like Pokémon Breeder and Cowgirl.

ORAS was so lazily done that they didn't even replaced Kalos trainers.

However, HGSS´s Frontier didn´t even change the Multi Battle parteners, so your partners there are the Sinnoh dudes from Platinum, which makes no sense.

At least in ORAS they changed the Multi Battle partners to be actual Hoenn Characters.

Are you sure? Well, that´s a bit annpying to hear. Especially since I actually prefer the ORAS NPCs over the Kalos ones.

But the HGSS Battle Frontier is even more lazy, since they didn´t bother changing the Multi Battle partners. So you have to team up with the 5 Sinnoh dudes from Platinum, which makes no sense in a Johto game.

At least in ORAS they bothered to give us actual Hoenn characters (Steven, Archie, Maxie, Wally, Brendan/May) for the Multi Battles.
