Mudsdale girl is the kahuna of the final island.

Doesn't rule out Guzma becoming the third one's though. Team Skull seems to run the wall city.

We saw a screenshot of her in the last island's canyons.
Her small size and Ground type matches one of the kahuna intro animations.
Based on the current naming scheme, the last island is the purple one and is named Poni. She has a horse and purple bonnet.

Oh yeah? Don't remember seeing that one. Pretty sure people just saw a girl standing next to a Mudsdale and made the only """"logical"""" assumption that she must be a Ground Kahuna.

No it's not you idiot.

The big island with the wall city represents Hawai'i, whose color is red. ('Ula'ula)

The final island featuring the Solgaleo/Luanala shrine and canyons represents Kauai, whose color is purple. (Poni)

I haven't seen most of the battle intros yet but, wouldn't it make sense for a kahuna's battle intro background colour to correspond with the Pokemon type they have? That black and white background doesn't look very groundlike to me.

Seems like you missed today's datamine, which showed all 4 Kahuna animations, (including the one in OP). There was a dull orange one (Hala) brown (Olivia) black (probably a dark type) and brighter Orange (which has to be Ground, since Dragon is the last Trial Captain).

Nope. The road she's standing on doesn't even match up with anywhere on the "final island" you're describing. But it does match the dock area of the rightmost island.
