I'm assuming it works like Smellingsalts and Wake up slap and it deals double damage on burned targets before healing them

Smelling Salts and Wake-Up Slap syndrome.
BP is doubled if it cures the status ailment.
Combine this with scald? It can really be scary.
Combine THAT with Serene Grace? You've got a terror.

I assume the idea is:
>Scald + Serene to get a 60% chance of burning the opponent
>you can now use the new move to heal the burn, but also deal double the damage

So it's like the only way to use the move effectively, a bit shit that you're stuck with that technique, but an effective one at that
