Given how stringy Morelull's "body" is, and how it's growing 3 mushrooms out of its head, I was expecting it to evolve into something a little more creepy and untamed, maybe even a little otherworldly-feeling. Mostlull throws that out and becomes Toad with that fucking disease in that deviantart comic with Misty on a hospital bed, and a pink diaper out of nowhere.
Gen 7 in general seems to have a problem with randomly anthropomorphizing everything, I think. Half the evolutions feel like they become bipedal and get more humanlike, to a weird degree.
