How the fuck can these games be so hard while the other games are a cakewalk?

My lvl 26 starter gets trucked by a lvl 18.

wat. Gen 5 games are a joke, even on BW2's hard mode outside of stuff like Black Tower/White Forest. Easily the weakest in the series.
