Like, I get why Bank isn't in right away, because they want you to use the new pokemon. This would be all well and good if not for gen 1 having 90+ pokemon in alola. All this does is force many people to wait for January to do a real playthrough.

I would understand the bank delay, if there's a lot of new pokemon to use, but there isn't.
I'm not sure how many new mons we got this gen but it's no doubt the 2nd least

Platinum dex is pretty good,all the pokemon fitted sinnoh perfectly.

Alola dex would'ben better if GEN 1 had 30ish pokemon instead of 87.

40 is not good,because it overshadows new pokemon,and it would be pretty unbalanced.

Hoenn,Unova and Kanto are the bigger so 30ish wold be good.

Jotho and Sinnoh are 100ish so 25ish would be the best

Alola and Kalos are really small so 13ish or so is good for them.

You have a good balance there,Alola did it right except gen 1 and gen 2 having 30 when it should have 25 or so for perfect balance.

As it is now, Kanto just completely overshadows everything when it's put in a game. It got old a long time ago.

Even with that, they don't put the ONE Kanto Pokemon that turns into a hula dancer, Oddish. What were they thinking?

This was their first attempt to return to a balanced dex after the mess that they did with Kalos,so they will have flaws,next game excpect something more balanced like:

Kanto: 32
Jotho: 21
Hoenn: 29
Sinnoh: 19
Unova: 31
Kalos: 12
Alola: 13
New pokemon: 100ish

On one hand I'm okay with it because I plan to do the initial run with only new Pokemon and alolan forms, but still. Luxray and Sawsbuck haven't shown up in a Pokedex since their respective generations, at least as far as I recall.
