It could be like Saki but with guys and girl or it can be like Digimon Tamers but with out the monsters being real. You start out low level street player and end up working your way to the nationals. It would require minds games due to it being a card game and all, you need some bluff skills.
As for everything else, yes, it could have drama, comedy, and romance.
