Olivia is an objectively good design because:
-She looks unique enough to differentiate her from other Pokegirls. She has a face and build unique to her. You could faceswap most Pokegirls and they would look identical.
-Her outfit is modern, trendy, and isn't outlandish. There's no weird Square Enix clothing going on - like the pants-boots combination Game Freak loves giving female characters. Her accessories are completely normal and they don't distract you. They help establish that she's a Rock-type Trainer without looking stupid.
-Her hairstyle is normal - there's no weird gravity-defying anime hair going on, like with May or Shauna. It's simple and cute.
-Simple color theory. The colors actually work well together. MANY character designs in Pokemon don't put much thought into how the colors work together. Leaf is a character I'd say has decent character design in terms of her clothing and hair, but it's clear that her colors just seem plastered on. Aquamarine, bright red, and bright yellow all compete for your attention around her torso. Then there's the aquamarine socks and the washed out white hat - it just doesn't work. Olivia isn't like that. She has a simple tried-and-true palette of brown, pastel pink, and purple. It's very appealing to the eye.
-Her pose is confident. Official art can do wonders for a character. It's part of why so many people are drawn to Hilda.
Like, even if you're an underage kiddie pretending to be a /pol/tard to fit into 4chan culture, you cannot deny that she is a good design.
