Does anyone else genuinely like mega evolutions? I think they have their good qualities and their detractors.

For one, they breathed new life into long-considered dead Pokemon. Secondly, they introduced new designs to fan favorites.

The clear problem is that they've taken over the metagame. It's a shame, because they're a really nice feature. I just hope that GF balances them in Gen VII.
