All the sets focus on helio being a speedy special attacker, but helio has such a diverse movepool that makes each set feel unique.
Obviously you've got your specs and scarf sets with dry skin, volt switch, and three other moves. Surf, grass knot, STAB hyper voice, focus blast, dark pulse, dragon pulse, signal beam, even HP ice if you can swing it. I would mention thunderbolt, but heliolisk has such good coverage that wasting a moveslot on another electric move feels wrong. Not to say you can't tack on thunderbolt if your team really needs a strong electric attack more than it needs coverage, but whatever.
Aside from those, a lot of people use life orb with 3 attacks and glare. This is also a pretty nifty set. Glare can paralyze ground types, which is always fun. I personally prefer expert belt to bluff a choice item; volt switch freely, and when they eventually switch into swampert/quag fearlessly, smack 'em with a grass knot.
Those are your fairly standard sets, but here are a couple of weird ones I've come up with:
Sub + glare + tbolt + HP ice with lefties. Helio forces a lot of switches, which translates into a lot of glares. HP ice + tbolt is almost perfect coverage.
Rain dance + thunder + volt switch + surf with a damp rock. Decent supporter for rain teams; feel free to ditch surf for focus blast if ferro is an issue.
Finally, you can use a solar power set:
thunderbolt + hyper voice + volt switch + focus blast/grass knot. Ttar is a bitch for sun teams.
Happy birthday!
