The worst part is how expansively good XY's regional dexes were. No matter how many good Pokemon from Gen 1, 2, 3 4 and 5 were available to catch, you unimaginative fuckers still went with a team consisting of Charizard, Blaziken, Greninja, Heliolisk, Lucario and Dragalge or Tyrantrum. If your team ends up like this it's not Game Freak's fault, its yours.

I don't mind Dragalge actually, probably shouldn't have put them in. The same goes for Tyrantrum, they are good mons, but when combined with teams of Greninja, Mega Lucario, Mega Charizard X/Y and your event Mega Blaziken, what's the point in having them?

Legit hate that team and I don't know I chose it. Every game since I've refused to use the Kalos starters (because they're awful) and stopped using the Kanto starters, too. My current team is

Tyrantrum is honestly one of my favorite Pokemon, I don't really care if it's an uncreative or typical team member. It's fucking great.

If there was a Gen 6 Water Type in Y that didn't trigger my Type Autism, I would have went with something that isn't Lapras.
But Clawitzer isn't obtainable without trading, and it doesn't make for a Surfer.
