This is best seen in the pre-evo since it has a tripod design. If this is how you say and its bottom half is its real head, how will it fight ? It has three out of six legs holding the bubble, two in the front and one on the back and the other three also have a similar orientation. If this thing would turn around to "face" you, it would only have two legs in the back and one in the front going completly down its face, it would be like having a metal bar constantly stuck on you face, in between you eyes and bloking your view point and it wouldn't be able to stand up either. The tripod design simply prevents this.
As for the final evolution, the way it's situated also suggests it won't have a good way of fighting. This is not like Mawile or Sceptile where it can just turn its head around to not blow its cover, its head and thorax are one piece and this is suposed to be a frontal view. Plus, we already know bugs and arthropods work differently in the pokemon world, they do have mouths and breath air through them, not like real bugs that do it via there entire body.
I know it sounds like a cool idea, but this is GF we're talking about, they can pull clever ideas and designs, but we shouldn't expect them to go full Lurantis on every pokemon.
