>>29548616I don't really despise gen 6, I just think the gen 7 starters are a much more interesting group. Greninja is great, but Chesnaught is plain and Delphox is a disappointment. I've gotten used to the design, but its stats, movepool, and HA are all so underwhelming it hurts. Delphox will always have a special place in my heart for being my first Kalos starter, but it's a shame that it turned out so average when Greninja turned out amazing and even Chesnaught got its own weird little niche.
The gen 7 starters are great. I've thought so since the first leak. Even if they end up mediocre competitively I'll still think they're a great-looking bunch with fun personalities and designs that really nail their intended themes.
