You misread. I don't believe the earlier source. If you use Refresh to cure pokemon of poison it wouldn't make sense for you to be able to do that only when the pokemon levels up.

I greatly enjoyed SA2, not sure what everyone's problem was with the non-Sonic stages except some of Rouge's and the Aquatic fucking Mine.

Played it again recently, and I don't it's aged badly at all. Gameplay still works fine, and those cutscenes are fucking timeless.
