Okay, real talk.
It's been 3 generations of games since we've had a game add evolutions to previous Pokemon when some of these new Pokemon could easily pass off as evolutions or even pre-evolutions to previous Pokemon.
What gives? Is it because of these new Mega Evolution and Alolan Form gimmicks? Because that's all they are.
They add them one generation and that's all they're good for, one generation.
They added Mega Evolution but quickly realized how much of a mistake that was and tried covering it with a blanket the next generation.
And now this generation they're making Alolan Forms, but only of the first generation of Pokemon? Do any of you actually expect them to continue these region variants next generation?
