New evidence indicates Rowlet's Base HP is not that high:

52 minimum
74 maximum
63 average (best guess)

This Rowlet is level 6 so it's more accurate than the level 5 old one.

But anyone who cared about analysis would realize that pokemon in trailers always have 0IVs/0EVs across the board, 31IVs/252EVs across the board, or completely random. We've known Rowlet has Piplup-tier base HP for a while now.

Litten is the fastest.
Rowlet still has the most HP.
Popplio is pretty much balanced between HP, Def, Sp.Atk and Sp.Def.

They are the lightest starters in both forms compare to the others. Hell rowlet is the lightest first form of all starters.

Ghosts generally have low HP because they're inorganic, like a lot of Rock and Steel types. This is obviously not the case with Decidueye.

Decidueye is a skinny ghost type. There is no way it has a high HP stat.

HP stat in pokemon is derived from fatness and type.

The gender ratio for starters is based on how super masculine Chikorita looks, and has nothing to do with gating your ability to breed them as soon as you get to the daycare center by tossing them in with any fish/rodent shitmons!!

Giftmons are always 7:1 and are the only 7:1 ratio. There is no 1:7 male/female ratio species, only 75% female or 100%

I'm guessing 60. My guess is that Rowlet and Litten's roles will flip. Rowlet being bulky to more flimsy and Litten being flimsy to having better bulk.

But that's never happened before. Starters don't flip roles, they always keep the same idea. It's to help kids understand things better, ie how confusing would it be if your fast hard hitting pokemon evolved into something slow and tanky? It'd just be annoying and confusing.

But that's not the point. Things like no gyms aren't a change like a starter becoming something else. Having the starter stay the same is good for teaching people what happens when a pokemon evolves. Starters are there to help newer players understand things.

most kids dont even understand what stats are; picking the most supereffective move is the furthest they'll go in strategy. when i was a kid i sure as hell didnt take into account charizards base 100 speed and 109 spatk when making moves

well, plenty of pokemon have changed their stat spreads when they evolve. Nincada into ninjask is one example. plus, Incineroar doesnt exactly look like a fast pokemon, and looks much more buff. If kids do give a shit about stats like you said, then they would be more confused why their buff ass kitten would have shit bulk but be speedy. His stats could go either way, but theres still a chance I'd say that he goes gives up speed for more HP and bulk

his HP is 158 at level 50 in the trailer, which means it's anywhere from ~50 to 98

With how they balance IVs and EVs, its usually 31 IVs and 0 EVS, or 0 IVs and 0 EVs (more likely). Which means more than likely either 50 OR 98, not a range. The lowest HP stat any starter has ever had was 70 with Sceptile, and it looks like he wont be losing that title, at least not to Incineroar. He could have something like 80 HP, but that means speed is more around 100 or 95 rather than 115 like some people were hoping. We'll have to wait until the game actually releases to see what their stats are like though.

Every single starter has the same 2-3 stats as their highest stat, that does not change. Litten has a high speed and high attack. Those will stay high. Maybe incineroar will get a higher hp stat relative to its other stats, like emboar's special attack stat, but his speed will still be one of his highest stats.

And it's not about kids giving a shit about stats, it's how a pokemon feels. Starters are not ninjask etc, they are your first pokemon, and shouldn't change roles as they evolve.
