I'm dead serious too, I love the whole idea of Darwinism affecting the Pokémon. All foreign Pokémon that show up in different regions should be clearly "Kanto Form" or changed to be the form of the Region it is in.
While they're at it, retcon some Pokémon so that continuity would line up.
IE Steelix are now "Sinnoh Form" due to their natural evolving on Iron Island, and the Metal Coat ones are slightly tweaked, and called "Johto Form"
These forms are the chance to really bring the Pokemon world alive, and truly breath life into every single Region and its Pokemon.
As usual though, GF will let a good idea rot away, and this will just be a gimmick that will probably die with Alola.
