You can play as a boy, and you can play as a girl, what's the problem?

If you self Identify as a girl, but are a boy, play the damn girl and say she's really a boy, if you self identify as a boy and are really a girl, play as a girl and don't be a bitch cause they get more customization options, and that's what is most important

Also, related question, is your gender ever actually referred to in game after the initial 'Are you a boy or a girl?' I'm trying to remember if anyone ever refers to you in third person, but I think if they do they always use your name over a pronoun.
But I'm not sure, can anyone confirm?

Either way it's a non-issue, especially with character customization returning. Just pick the avatar you think looks better.

If someone can't cope with not having an explicit option to be a m2f demisexual transblack poly feminist in a game that has absolutely nothing to do with any of those things, then they should really have some self awareness, realize how pathetic and mentally ill they are, and opt for the rope

I guess the third is fine on its own, but if you're coming from the second game it leaves a bad taste in your mouth when they completely change a characters personality, kill another one off in the first five minutes, and don't even mention the antagonist that was built up for the past two games

I honestly don't care too much. I think letting people build themselves in a game is great. Helps with immersion and is just plain old fun. Anyone who reads into it more than that doesn't really bother me.
