A lot are already existing, so filling the region would be nice and logical. Polar bear, black bear, grizzly, deer, caribou, skunks, wolves, foxes, whales, eagles, lynx and so on.
For new pokeys there are many choices, nortern lights, maple syrup, igloos, puffin(pic related), porcupine, possum, armadillo etc.
Maybe even an inukshuk rock/ghost. That would tickle my fancy for sure
