Prankster works the turn you Mega Evolve, so you can burn before they hit you. You can set up without Whirlwind or Roar working on you. It's a fantastic mon that does its job phenomenally. Far too well, to the point of overly centralizing the meta.
It does, however, have its counters. Namely M-Lop and Clefable. Which also means that if you don't have either of these, you're a bit fucked. And that's hoping M-Lop doesn't get crippled by a burn. Azumarill can also work, as Belly Drum allows it to OHKO even if burned. Just gotta hope they don't have teammates like, say, Ferrothorn or Skarmory. In the end, it's for the best if it gets banned, though I'm not fully convinced it will.
